JOURNAL DESCRIPTION
Journal of Global Health Sciences and Practice (JGHSP) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to rigorous, ethical, and practice-relevant scholarship that advances public health, family medicine, primary care, health systems, clinical and allied health practice, and equitable access to quality care across global contexts.
JGHSP connects public health evidence, health sciences, implementation knowledge, professional practice, policy, and community engagement. The journal provides a multidisciplinary forum for researchers, family physicians, general practitioners, nurses, allied health professionals, educators, health-system leaders, policymakers, humanitarian practitioners, and community partners in established and emerging settings.
Its core purpose is to bring research closer to the everyday realities of people, families, communities, and frontline services. The journal particularly welcomes work that strengthens prevention, continuity of care, chronic-disease management, patient safety, maternal and child care, health literacy, and integrated care pathways. Quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, implementation-science, participatory, and interdisciplinary approaches are all within scope.
