Visibility, Indexing & Archiving

PGRI supports the discoverability, citation, and long-term availability of published research through structured article metadata, open access, and a progressive indexing strategy.

Discovery and metadata services

Proceedings and paper metadata is prepared for wide academic discovery. PGRI maintains a clear distinction between services used for metadata and discoverability and independent indexing databases that evaluate journals against their own criteria.

Google ScholarArticle discovery through open scholarly web indexing.

Discovery channel

CrossrefDOI registration and standardised article metadata.

Access model

Visibility & Indexing applications

PGRI may submit applications to recognised databases and directories, including DOAJ, Scopus, Web of Science, CAB Abstracts, GEOBASE, RePEc, ProQuest, EBSCO, CNKI, and ERIC, where the platform’s scope and published record are eligible. Evaluation, acceptance, timing, and coverage are determined solely by each independent provider.

Important: PGRI does not claim an Impact Factor, CiteScore, Scopus coverage, Web of Science coverage, or acceptance in any index until that status has been formally confirmed by the relevant service.

Archiving and author access

Published articles remain openly accessible on the PGRI platform. PGRI’s preservation approach supports responsible long-term retention through recognised digital archiving arrangements. Authors retain copyright and may share the published version in institutional repositories, subject repositories, and personal academic pages with appropriate citation.
