About the Journal

Journal of Global Sustainability Pathways (JGSP) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing rigorous, solution-oriented scholarship on sustainability and sustainable development. The journal publishes original research, critical reviews, policy analyses, case studies, methodological contributions, and evidence-informed perspectives.

JGSP examines the environmental limits, social equity, economic resilience, technological change, and institutional transformation that shape sustainable futures. It provides a multidisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and innovators working across local, regional, and global contexts.

The journal particularly welcomes work that connects scientific insight with practical action, investigates interdependencies among the Sustainable Development Goals, and presents credible pathways towards resilient, inclusive, low-carbon, and regenerative societies. Quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, participatory, systems-thinking, and interdisciplinary approaches are all within scope.

An interdisciplinary view of sustainability.

JGSP welcomes scholarship that moves beyond single-discipline perspectives to examine sustainability as an interconnected challenge. The journal values research that develops concepts, tests solutions, assesses impacts, informs policy, improves professional practice, and supports evidence-based decision-making across societies and sectors.
